Well Grandson, here it is almost Christmas of 2016.  You are missed today as much as you were the first Christmas we had without you.  I know, I know, you are going to have the most marvelous Christmas being with Jesus.  I be there someday to celebrate with you, but until then know you are missed here.  I am blessed this year as I am suppose to have Diirk, your Mom & Dad, Jason, 
Traci, Jayden and Jaci with me this Christmas.  I love you Grandson, and will see you before too long.

This website is extremely hard to create!   How do we put it together and still include how wonderful you were on each page?   I feel so honored and blessed to have been chosen as your "mother" here on earth...  oh how I long to see your sweet face again Gavin.  I still feel your goatee brushing my cheek when you would kiss me goodnight after getting home from your job.   So many wonderful memories so I'll start with this one:  

 You were about 3 1/2;  on a weekday, I had to work & you went to a super fun day care. You always went to the backyard to check on "Spud", our lab/collie mix before we left......  It was summer and we had a big blowup pool with toys floating in it.  Of course it looked like fun; already warm outside so without hesitation you stripped down and got in the pool.  I came outside to start the truck and heard a splash!   You popped up and said "hey mom, lets just swim today!"  Seeing the excitement of this idea in your face, that's just what we did !!!   I called in sick and we swam, played, napped, made Ninja Turtle play-doh figures, cooked macaroni & cheese (your favorite) rode the 4wheeler - had an amazing day!  Zero regrets about work or laundry!    Tons of fun, smiles and laughter!   I remember it like it was yesterday :)   Love you so much son! 

 

Well, Christmas of 2010 came and went.  You were truly missed Grandson.  I was thinking of your visit with us last Christmas, and what a joy you were.  You were laughing so at the package from Uncle Jay & Aunt Traci, I had to post the picture.  The package contained a pillow of womens boobs, and you were so cute with it. I know your Christmas this year was the best ever, being with Jesus.  I keep telling myself that you are just on one of your journeys and I'll see you again soon!  Miss and love you always.
