Gavin Shey Morrison was born to Bill and Tina on Monday September 17, 1990 in Midland,TX.
Gavin graduated from Permian High School in 2009 and attended his freshman year of college at Midland College in Midland, TX. majoring in criminal justice.
Gavin spent 2 yrs in the People To People Student Ambassador program where he traveled to Australia and Europe. He stormed the beach in Normandy where his Gramps and Uncle had been during WW2. He was chosen to raise the flag on the beach in remembrance. Gavin loved traveling that started at the age of 2 and was definately a movie buff; whether it was old movies or new releases he knew them all.
Gavin was crazy about his little brother GK; he was always looking out for him from the day he was born. Gavin loved to hang out with his friends, go hunting with his dad, and enjoyed the land scaping that his mom did. He could listen for hours the stories his Uncle Dirk would tell him from past to present.
Gavin had a heart of gold, he thought of others before he ever considered himself. His beautiful smile always brought joy and peace to everyone who knew him. GSM followed the word of God from the time he was a small child until he was called home.
